Recipe: Meatless Pigeons

  • 1 cup soaked and cooked dried peas, beans, lentils or lima beans
  • ½ cup dried breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup fat
  • 1 egg
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sage

Mix and shape as PIGEONS. Roll in flour and fry in dripping.
